VersaVoice AI
Your voice.
Without borders.
The user manual for families, travelers, teams, and anyone who is tired of a language getting in the way.
At a glance
VersaVoice AI is a voice-first way for people to talk across languages. You speak as you normally would. The other person hears you, or reads you, in their language — and still recognizes that it is you.

There are four ways to send a message. Part 3 explains when to choose each one.
What is VersaVoice AI?
Human communication first
VersaVoice AI is a communications app. The person on the other side is a person. The product exists so that a parent, a partner, a customer, or a colleague can understand you without either of you switching languages.
AI is the machinery under the message. It is not the point of the conversation.
Vision and philosophy
Language is one of the oldest walls between people. VersaVoice AI was built to take that wall down in ordinary life: a voice note to family abroad, a work thread with someone who does not share your language, a face-to-face conversation while you travel.
The idea is simple. You stay yourself. Your pace, your warmth, and your meaning travel with the message. Translation is not a separate chore you do before you press send. It is part of sending.
That is how collaboration moves up a level. People stop negotiating a common language and start working on the actual work, the actual family, the actual plan.
Who it is for
Can it be used with AI?
Yes. VersaVoice AI is also the communications backbone for Versa AGi, a local system of AI agents that can message you and your Connections the same way a person does — by voice or by text, with translation, and with a read on how a person feels.
You do not need Versa AGi to use VersaVoice AI. If you want agents on your own computer, working with you and with the people you already talk to, start here. Then read the Versa AGi manual at versavoice.ai/manual/versa-agi.html, or visit versa-agi.com.
Privacy, security, and no ads
Your messages are for the people you send them to.
VersaVoice AI does not run advertising. It does not sell personal information, share it with advertisers, or hand it to data brokers. The full promise is in the Privacy Policy at versavoice.ai/privacy.html.
Your voice is processed so the other person can receive it. It is not a product we sell on the side.
What can VersaVoice AI do for me?
Cross-cultural communication
Speak in your language. They receive it in theirs. You do not both have to meet in a third language, and you do not have to type everything out first.
Fluency enhancement
Spoken language is messy. People restart, fill silence, and circle a word. Fluency enhancement cleans that up — fillers, false starts, self-repairs — so the message that arrives is what you meant, not a transcript of every stumble.
Um, I was — I mean, can you, like, pick up the
kids?
Can you pick up the kids?
You choose how much of that help you want. Each kind of cleanup is its own switch under Language → Fluency. The original meaning stays yours.
Always transcribed
Every voice message can be read as well as heard. A transcript is there when someone is in a meeting, on a train, or simply prefers text. Nothing important lives only in audio.
Reply Hints
When a message arrives, Reply Hints suggest ways to answer so your reply is complete — the question they actually asked, the detail they are waiting on.
Reply Hints are free. They do not spend Neural Time. The first time you ask, the hints are saved on that message and reused.
Closer families
A translated message that still sounds like the sender changes a family. Grandparents hear a grandchild. A partner abroad is not reduced to short, careful English. Understanding grows because the person comes through, not only the facts.
Teams, productivity, and the uGPN
The same thing happens at work. A team stops losing hours to language. Messages, attachments, and replies move in each person’s language.
That pattern is the start of the Unified Global Production Network (uGPN) — people and, when you add Versa AGi, their agents, working across places without a shared native language. VersaVoice AI is the layer that carries the words.
Connections and invitations
You talk to Connections, not to a public feed. Invite someone with a code or a QR code. They join your circle, and the conversation stays between you.
We call them Connections, not contacts, on purpose. A contact is information about a person — a name and a number. You already have those on your phone. VersaVoice AI is not a second address book. A Connection is a working relationship inside the app. It is someone you can message. It also decides who can spend your Neural Time through tethering, who sits with family and friends, and who can run in API mode.
To invite someone, open Chat → Search and tap Generate. Share the code, or let them scan the QR. To accept an invitation, tap Enter Code.
Neural Tethering
A sponsor can tether another person to their Neural Time. The tethered person sends messages, and the minutes come off the sponsor’s balance. It is useful for family, and for a teammate you want to include without making them buy minutes first.

In-Person mode
Lay the phone flat on the table between two people. Each speaks their own language. Each hears the other. It is for travel, clinics, front desks, and any table where two languages meet.
Open Chat → In-Person, set each person’s language and voice, then tap Start Session.
How does VersaVoice AI work?
Voice first
The normal path is your voice. You record. VersaVoice AI transcribes, optionally improves fluency, optionally translates, and — in Neural Voice — speaks the result in a voice that carries you.
In a chat, the round control at the bottom shows which mode is on. Its color tells you. Hold it, or swipe it, to switch.

Under Language → Pipeline you choose how a message is processed.

You can also type. Under Send As there are three paths:
Attachments
A message can carry more than words: a link, a Markdown note, a photo, or a file. The attachment travels with the message, so the other person has the file and not just a description of it.
Four ways to connect
Each mode is private. You stay in your language. The mode decides what the other person receives, so choose the one that fits the conversation.

Translation across 93 languages
VersaVoice AI supports 93 languages. Neural Voice keeps the sender’s identity in the languages the voice engine supports. Some languages are experimental: text translation works, and a spoken voice may be attempted but is not guaranteed.
How do I get started?
Install and open the app
Create an account, confirm your email, and you are in.
Your profile
Set your name, your language, and your voice.
- Your name is under Settings → Personal.
- Your language is under Language → Identity. It is the language you speak. Each Connection has a language they receive, and the app uses both.
- Your voice is under Language → Voice. It is the voice used when a message is spoken. Create your digital voice twin there so Neural Voice sounds like you.
The in-app Information Center and the short audio guides cover the same setup if you would rather listen than read.
What is Neural Time?
Neural Time is the minutes the app spends when it processes a message. Your balance is at the top of every screen, and in detail on the Activity tab. When it runs out, you top up or wait for the next subscription grant.
You are never billed by surprise in the background. If the balance cannot cover a message, the send stops and asks you to add time.
Buying Neural Time
There are two ways to buy. The prices below are the published catalog. The store on your phone shows what you are charged.
Subscriptions (monthly):
Starter
$7.99 / month
30 minutes
Light use, travel
Standard
$24.99 / month
100 minutes
Regular use, including someone you tether
Pro
$59.99 / month
250 minutes
Heavy use, including a team
Top-ups (no subscription required):
50 minutes
$13.99
100 minutes
$26.99
Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store or Google Play. Canceling stops renewal. Minutes you already have keep their expiry window.
Expiry
Minutes last 90 days from purchase. That applies to subscription grants and to top-ups. Unused credit older than that expires and is recorded as an expiration. In practice, your balance is what you bought in the last 90 days, minus what you have used.
How Neural Time is used
Neural Time is counted in seconds. A spoken message can be up to 7 minutes long.
When you speak:
Voice Text
1 second per message, however long the recording is.
A 4-minute voice note costs 1 second.
Neural Text
The length of your recording, rounded up, never less than 1 second and never more than 10.
45 seconds of speech costs 10 seconds. 5 seconds of speech costs 5 seconds.
Neural Voice
The length of your recording, rounded up. Standard is ×1. Enhanced, Experimental, or a language that needs the higher voice tier is ×2.
30 seconds in Standard costs 30 seconds. The same 30 seconds on the higher tier costs 60 seconds.
When you type:
Typed
1 second.
Translated
10 seconds.
Spoken
The length of the spoken result, with the same ×2 rule as Neural Voice when the higher tier applies.
Always free: Reply Hints. If someone is tethered to you, their sends draw on your balance.
Everyday use
A normal day
- Open a Connection.
- Choose Voice Text, Neural Text, Neural Voice, or the keyboard.
- Speak, or type.
- They receive it in the form that mode promises.
- Swipe their message for Reply Hints, a direct reply, or to pin it.
If something feels wrong
- Balance says zero
- Buy a top-up, or check that your tethered sponsor still has time.
- They got your language, not theirs
- You sent Voice Text. Voice Text does not translate. Use Neural Text or Neural Voice.
- The voice does not sound right
- Check your selected voice under Language → Voice, and whether that language is in the standard voice set or the experimental set.
- A Connection disappeared
- They may have removed the connection. A removed connection cannot receive new messages from you.

Afterword: what the technology is for
The person on the other side of a message is a person. VersaVoice AI is not a chatbot, and it is not a way to spend the evening talking to a machine. The machinery under a message is there so two people can understand each other.
You stay yourself. A family hears the person, not a substitute voice. A team spends the meeting on the work, not on which language to hold it in. Carried further, that is people collaborating across places that do not share a language — the Unified Global Production Network, and Versa AGi when you want agents in that circle.
The voice clone that lets Neural Voice sound like you stays on your account. It is not shared, and it is deleted when you delete it or close the account.
The technology should carry you toward the other person.
